If you are looking for great horse care in the Highlands County area, Orchid Hill Stables offers a family friendly environment that equine enthusiasts can truly appreciate.

While we specialize in the care of Arabian and Half/Arabian horses, all horse breeds and sizes are welcome. With stalls available in 3 sizes, 10’X10’, 10’X12’, and 10’X16’, your horse will be comfortably housed.

There is no need to worry about your horse staying cool, as our barn roof is raised to a level that allows the Florida air to flow freely throughout the stable area. The barn is also at a high elevation to prevent horses from standing in water, as is often an issue in lower lying sections of central Florida. The pastures offer nearly 40 acres of leisure room for riding, and just the right amount of turn out time for the horses.

Boarding includes: appropriate size stall for your horse, stall cleaning, feeding, access to round pen, riding fields, student discount for all Orchid Hill Stables activities, tack room, and handling of your horse for shoeing. The monthly fee for these boarding amenities is $400. At the end of each month you will receive a separate bill for the cost of feed and hay, as well as de-wormer (every 6 weeks), and hoof care (every 6 weeks). Any acquired veterinary bills will also be billed to the owner of the horse.
